First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study tests whether using remote alerts from heart devices (like pacemakers or defibrillators) can improve care compared to standard doctor visits. About 120 adults with these devices will be randomly assigned to either alert-driven care or usual care. The goal is to see if the remote approach is safe and effective.
