Summary

This study tested the drug rapamycin in 44 adults with Inclusion Body Myositis, a rare muscle disease that causes progressive weakness. The goal was to see if rapamycin could slow the loss of muscle strength. Participants received either rapamycin or a placebo, and their muscle strength and function were measured over time.
