First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This trial provides early access to an experimental stem cell therapy called RAPA-501 for people with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). The treatment uses a patient's own immune cells to potentially slow disease progression. It is available to adults 18 and older with a confirmed ALS diagnosis and reduced lung function. The goal is to control the disease, not cure it.
