New pill could cut seizures in half for epilepsy patients

Summary

This study tests an experimental drug called RAP-219 to see if it safely reduces the number of focal seizures in adults with epilepsy. About 312 participants will take either the drug or a placebo for a set period. The main goal is to measure how much seizure frequency drops and how many people experience at least a 50% reduction.
