NCT ID NCT06731790
First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study looked at blood samples from 35 people with a rare genetic condition called Acute Necrotizing Encephalopathy Type 1 (ANE1) and compared them to healthy volunteers. The goal was to understand how a mutation in the RANBP2 gene changes the way immune cells react to infections. By studying these differences, researchers hope to learn more about what causes severe brain inflammation in these patients.
