First seen Apr 02, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study tests a shorter, more intense radiation schedule given before surgery for soft tissue sarcoma in the arms, legs, or trunk. The goal is to see if this approach can better prevent the cancer from coming back in the same area. About 135 adults will receive 15 radiation sessions over 3 weeks, followed by tumor removal surgery, and be monitored for up to 5 years.
