New hope for kids with returning brain cancer: targeted radiation shows promise

Summary

This study tests a new treatment for children whose medulloblastoma or ependymoma has come back after standard therapy. It combines a radioactive antibody delivered directly into the brain fluid with standard chemotherapy drugs. The goal is to see if this approach can help control the tumor and improve survival. About 62 children will take part.
