First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study looks at people who have TB-like changes on chest X-rays but test negative for TB bacteria in their spit. It aims to find the shortest effective treatment (8 to 24 weeks) and see if close monitoring without immediate treatment is safe. About 784 adults in high-TB areas will be followed for 78 weeks.
