New malaria combo aims for total cure in groundbreaking trial

Summary
This study tests whether a new drug combination (SJ733 plus tafenoquine) can completely cure people with a specific type of malaria called P. vivax. About 104 adults with mild malaria will receive the treatment over 1 to 3 days. The goal is to see if the infection stays away for 6 months without the need for ongoing medication.
