NCT ID NCT07458724
First seen Mar 10, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study tested if doctors can safely place a permanent pacemaker using only ultrasound (echocardiography) instead of X-rays, which expose patients and staff to radiation. Thirty-one adults with arrhythmia took part. The goal was to see if the ultrasound-guided method works well and is safe enough to replace the standard X-ray approach.
