Trial tests quick vs. standard radiation for tough head & neck cancers
NCT ID NCT03164460
Summary
This study compares two different radiation therapy approaches for patients whose head and neck cancer has returned and cannot be treated with surgery. One method delivers high-precision radiation in just 5 sessions, while the other uses a more standard schedule of 30-35 sessions. The main goal is to see which approach causes fewer serious side effects while still controlling the cancer.
