Faster radiation vs. standard care for tough head & neck cancers
NCT ID NCT03164460
Summary
This study compares two different radiation therapy methods for patients whose head and neck cancer has returned and cannot be removed by surgery. One method delivers high-precision radiation in just 5 sessions, while the other uses a more standard approach over 6-7 weeks. The main goal is to see which method better controls the cancer while causing fewer serious side effects.
