Radiation blitz on cancer spots aims to buy more time

Summary
This study is testing whether using highly focused, high-dose radiation on all visible cancer spots can help people with a limited number of metastases live longer without their cancer getting worse. It is for adults with breast cancer or non-small cell lung cancer that has spread to 1-5 other places in the body. Participants are randomly assigned to receive this targeted radiation plus standard care, or standard care alone, to see which approach works better.
