First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study tests whether a weekly injection of dulaglutide, a drug used for diabetes, can improve blood flow in the brain for people with severely narrowed arteries inside the skull. About 130 adults who recently had a mild stroke or mini-stroke will receive either standard care or standard care plus dulaglutide for one year. Researchers will measure changes in brain blood flow and track any new strokes over two years.
