Doctors track safety of new Wrist-Access procedure
NCT ID NCT04272216
Summary
This study aimed to collect real-world information on a medical procedure that blocks blood vessels to treat conditions like uterine fibroids. It observed 99 patients who had the procedure done through an artery in the wrist instead of the groin. The main goal was to see how successful the procedure was and to track any complications related to using the wrist as the entry point.
