Summary
This early-stage trial tests whether the drug Racecadotril can help protect organ function in people with sepsis, a life-threatening response to infection. About 44 adults in intensive care will receive either the drug or a placebo, in addition to standard sepsis treatment. The main goal is to see if organ function improves over 4 days.
