New study seeks better ways to track rheumatoid arthritis treatment effectiveness

NCT ID NCT07272850

Summary

This study aims to understand how two different treatment approaches for rheumatoid arthritis affect patients' bodies. Researchers will compare blood test results and ultrasound scans of joints in patients taking newer JAK inhibitor medications versus those on traditional treatments. The goal is to find better ways to measure whether treatments are working by looking at inflammation markers in blood and joint images.
