Summary
This study looks at how children's quality of life and feelings of being stigmatized change after surgical removal of a congenital melanocytic nevus (a type of birthmark). Researchers will follow 100 children aged 9 months to 16 years before and after surgery, using questionnaires and interviews. The goal is to understand if the surgery improves emotional well-being and reduces stigma.
