Birthmark removal boosts Kids' Well-Being, new study shows

Summary

This study looks at children with congenital melanocytic nevi (a type of birthmark) who choose to have it surgically removed. The goal is to see if removing the birthmark improves their quality of life and reduces feelings of being stigmatized. About 100 children aged 9 months to 16 years will be followed before and after surgery using questionnaires and interviews.
