Fencing study reveals best exercise for stronger thighs

Summary
This study tested 30 young fencers to find which of three exercises most activates the quadriceps (thigh) muscles. Participants did a single-leg squat, a squat with core activation, and a half-kneeling exercise while muscle activity was measured with sensors. Results may help trainers choose exercises to improve performance and prevent injuries.
