New pill could tame painful skin condition

Summary
This study tests a new capsule called QLS12010 in 102 adults with moderate-to-severe hidradenitis suppurativa (HS), a painful skin condition. The trial has two parts: first, an open-label phase to see if the drug works and is safe; second, a placebo-controlled phase to find the best dose. Participants will be treated for up to 24 weeks and followed for 4 more weeks to check for side effects.
