New drug aims to stop Chemo's worst side effect
NCT ID NCT07081256
Summary
This study tested whether a new drug called QLM2010 works better than current standard treatments at preventing severe nausea and vomiting in cancer patients receiving strong chemotherapy. It involved 665 adults with solid tumors who were about to receive their first round of cisplatin-based chemotherapy. The main goal was to see if more patients could avoid vomiting and not need extra rescue medications when taking QLM2010.
