New drug trial offers hope for cancer patients battling chemo sickness
NCT ID NCT07081256
Summary
This study tested whether a new injection called QLM2010 works better than current standard medicines at preventing severe nausea and vomiting in cancer patients receiving strong chemotherapy. It involved 665 adults with solid tumors who were getting their first round of cisplatin-based chemotherapy. The trial directly compared how well patients did on the new drug versus existing treatments over several days.
