Stool test could spot colon cancer early – no scope needed?
NCT ID NCT07410546
First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a non-invasive stool test (qFIT) can accurately detect colorectal cancer and precancerous lesions in adults aged 40–75. Researchers will compare the test results with colonoscopy findings to see how well it works for different types and locations of growths. The goal is to improve early detection and reduce the need for unnecessary colonoscopies.
