Knee angle linked to foot pressure in active young adults
NCT ID NCT07500597
First seen Apr 03, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study looked at 92 physically active young adults to see if the Q-angle (a measure of knee alignment) is related to how pressure is distributed on the bottom of the foot while walking. Participants had their Q-angle measured and walked on a pressure-sensing mat. The goal was to understand if knee alignment affects foot loading patterns, which could help in future injury prevention or treatment research.
