Knee angle linked to foot pressure in active young adults

NCT ID NCT07500597

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looked at 92 physically active young adults to see if the angle of the knee (Q-angle) is related to how pressure is distributed across the foot while walking. Participants had their knee angle measured and walked over a pressure-sensing mat. The goal was to better understand how leg alignment might affect foot loading patterns, which could help in future injury prevention research.
