New corneal implant aims to ease swelling in rare eye conditions

Summary
This early-stage study tests a new corneal implant called PVEK for people with corneal swelling caused by Fuchs' endothelial dystrophy or pseudophakic bullous keratopathy. About 15 participants will receive the implant and be monitored for side effects and whether they need additional treatment within 6 months. The goal is to see if the implant is safe and well tolerated.
