First seen Nov 14, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study tested whether health coaches can help low-income patients with COPD or asthma get better access to lung specialists and follow their treatment plans. 328 adults from public clinics took part, with half receiving health coaching and half getting usual care. The goal was to see if coaching leads to more patients receiving recommended medications and care.
