First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study tested whether a longer (480 seconds) or shorter (240 seconds) pulse radiofrequency treatment works better for people with chronic nerve pain in the lower back and leg. Sixty adults who had pain for more than 12 weeks and did not get relief from other treatments were included. The procedure targets the nerve root using X-ray guidance. Researchers measured pain levels, disability, and patient satisfaction over time.
