Tooth-Saving liner study ends early – only 5 people enrolled
NCT ID NCT07231237
First seen Nov 17, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study tested a special dental liner placed directly over exposed tooth pulp (the nerve and blood vessel part) to keep the tooth alive and healthy. It was for people with permanent teeth that had pulp exposure from deep cavities, trauma, or dental work. The study was stopped early after enrolling only 5 people, so we don't have enough information to know how well the liner works.
