New pill could ease pain for women with vulvodynia

Summary
This study tests a single dose of a new drug called pudafensine to see if it can reduce pain in women with provoked vestibulodynia, a type of vulvodynia. About 24 women will receive the drug or a placebo in random order. The goal is to measure changes in pain threshold in the vaginal area.
