Summary
This study tested a new talk therapy called Impact of Killing (IOK) for 100 veterans with PTSD caused by moral injury—distress from killing or being responsible for a death in war. The goal was to see if IOK improves quality of life and PTSD symptoms better than a standard therapy. Researchers also checked if benefits lasted six months after treatment.
