Summary
This study is testing a child-friendly version of a proven PTSD treatment for adults, called RTM-C. It uses games and imaginative exercises to help children aged 6-14 safely reprocess traumatic memories and reduce symptoms like nightmares and flashbacks. Up to 40 children and their parents will take part in therapy sessions and complete questionnaires over 6 months. The goal is to see if this approach can ease PTSD and improve daily functioning.
