First seen Feb 11, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study aimed to see if a brief screening method could predict which veterans with PTSD or major depression would respond well to SSRI antidepressants. Researchers planned to enroll 94 participants over about 5 years, but the study was terminated early after enrolling only 26. The goal was to improve treatment matching and reduce trial-and-error prescribing.
