New system aims to catch hidden PTSD in chicago clinics
NCT ID NCT06479447
Summary
This study is testing a new system to help primary care doctors find and treat Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) more quickly. It will enroll 17,000 adults from Chicago's South Side, an area with high rates of trauma. The approach uses online patient portals to screen people for PTSD and then connects those who need it directly to mental health care within the same clinic.
