First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated Apr 25, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study tests whether having trained peers deliver blood pressure medications directly to patients' homes, combined with health technology, can help people take their pills more regularly and lower their blood pressure. About 1,140 adults with uncontrolled high blood pressure in western Kenya will take part. The goal is to see if this approach improves medication adherence and reduces blood pressure over 12 months.
