First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study tests two psychological treatments—Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and a computer-based training called Interpretation Bias Training (IBT)—to help children aged 8 to 17 with severe irritability and temper outbursts (Disruptive Mood Dysregulation Disorder). Participants can choose one or both therapies. The goal is to see if these approaches reduce irritability and improve daily life at home, school, and with friends.
