First seen Apr 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 20, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study tests a 12-week program that combines positive psychology (building well-being) with motivational interviewing (boosting exercise drive) to help 280 heart attack survivors who are not very active. Participants do weekly activities and phone sessions with a coach, plus text messages for 24 weeks. The goal is to see if this approach increases moderate-to-vigorous physical activity compared to usual care.
