Role-Playing therapy tested to calm aggressive teens
NCT ID NCT07311174
Summary
This study tested whether a 10-week psychodrama program could help reduce aggressive behavior and improve social skills in teenage boys. Twenty-two students in Iran who showed high aggression and poor social adjustment were randomly assigned to either join the therapy sessions or be in a comparison group. The therapy involved role-playing and other creative exercises to help participants manage emotions and behavior.
