First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 36 times
Summary
This study looked at the link between psoriasis (a chronic skin condition) and gum health. Researchers examined 226 adults—some with psoriasis and some without—to see if psoriasis affects the gums and overall quality of life. Participants had an oral exam and filled out questionnaires. The goal was to better understand the connection, not to test a treatment.
