New scan tries to spy on rare Cancer's response to treatment
NCT ID NCT06521775
Summary
This study tested whether a special type of PET scan could be useful for seeing how well treatment is working in patients with a rare, advanced salivary gland cancer that has spread. Six patients received the scan before and during their cancer therapy. The goal was to see if changes on the scan matched changes in a related blood test, helping doctors better monitor the disease.
