NCT ID NCT03535831
First seen Feb 03, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study tested whether a special PET scan (called PSMA PET) can find prostate cancer that has spread to lymph nodes or other parts of the body better than standard CT and bone scans. 142 men with intermediate- or high-risk prostate cancer, or whose cancer had returned after treatment, received the PSMA PET scan. The goal was to see if this scan leads to more accurate staging and better treatment decisions.
