NCT ID NCT06923657
First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 32 times
Summary
This study tests whether using a special scan (PSMA PET/MRI) to guide prostate biopsies can better detect aggressive prostate cancer in men who have had a negative biopsy before but still have high PSA levels. About 230 participants will be randomly assigned to either the new scan-guided biopsy or the standard method. The goal is to improve early detection and reduce missed cancers.
