New scan aims to find hidden prostate cancer

NCT ID NCT05160597

Summary

This study is testing a new way to find prostate cancer in men whose previous biopsy results were unclear or negative. Researchers use a special radioactive tracer that sticks to prostate cancer cells, which shows up on a PET/CT scan. This scan then guides where to take biopsy samples, hoping to improve detection of cancers that need treatment.
