New scan could reveal hidden cancer tumors
NCT ID NCT05547919
Summary
This study is testing a specialized PET scan that looks for a protein called PSMA, which is often found on gastrointestinal cancer cells. Researchers want to see if this scan can find more cancer sites than standard imaging and if it can help predict how patients will respond to treatment. The study involves 46 adults with newly diagnosed gastrointestinal cancers who have not yet started treatment.
