NCT ID NCT06692192
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 33 times
Summary
This study looks at how psilocybin (the active ingredient in magic mushrooms) helps the brain adapt and change, and whether that improves emotional wellbeing in people with mild mood decline. About 60 adults will receive different doses of psilocybin combined with other medications, then undergo brain scans, questionnaires, and brain stimulation tests. The goal is to understand the role of brain plasticity in psilocybin's effects, not to treat a specific disease.
