First seen Nov 10, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study tests whether psilocybin, a psychedelic substance, can help U.S. military veterans with depression that hasn't improved with standard treatments. About 240 veterans will receive psilocybin in a controlled setting, and researchers will measure changes in depression symptoms and side effects. The goal is to see if this approach offers a new option for those who have not found relief.
