Summary

This study tests whether up to two doses of psilocybin (the active ingredient in magic mushrooms) can safely reduce depression in adults who have both cancer and major depressive disorder. About 56 participants will receive either psilocybin or a placebo in a group setting with therapist support. The goal is to see if psilocybin improves mood better than placebo over 8 weeks.
