First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 35 times

Summary

This study looks at how a single dose of psilocybin, the active ingredient in magic mushrooms, affects brain activity in people with functional neurological disorder (FND). Researchers will use brain scans to see if psilocybin can change a key brain network linked to FND. The study involves 24 adults aged 25-60 with moderate to severe FND that hasn't improved with standard treatments.
