First seen Nov 20, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study tested a simple, rapid PSA test that uses whole blood to see if it works as well as the standard lab test for prostate cancer screening. Researchers compared results from 94 patients with prostate cancer or benign prostate disease. The goal was to see if the quick test could reliably detect high PSA levels, making screening faster and easier.
